Alia Bhatt has quashed all her dating rumours with co-stars, insisting she is single from last two years.

The 20-year-old newbie actress had been linked with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the past. "My fans should not get affected by my link-up rumours with my co-stars.

All these are baseless as I have not been dating anyone from last two years. I am very much single," Alia said, who was here to promote her upcoming film 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' with male lead Varun.

Having started her career with college drama 'Student of the Year', Alia starred in films like 'Highway' and '2States' after that. Asked what kind of films she wants to do next, the three-film-old actress said, "I want to do an out-and-out comedy now."

Apart from the buzz about her upcoming film 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', the social media is also flooded with jokes on her her general knowledge.

But the actress, who is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, said she does not get upset by them. "I don't get upset by the jokes on me.

Rather they entertain me to a great level," Alia added. Directed by debutant filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' is hitting theatres on July 11.
