Singer Jasmine Sandlas is facing flak online after several attendees at her Hyderabad concert claimed that the event turned into a disappointing experience, describing it as 'worse.' The singer, who is known for tracks including Dhurandhar, performed at Quake Arena in Hyderabad on June 27. However, soon after the show, attendees took to social media to share their experience, revealing that she arrived nearly three hours late and allegedly lip-synced during her performance.
Several concertgoers also slammed the event's management, alleging poor communication, delay and mismanagement. Meanwhile, some even accused the organisers of creating "a new way of scamming people" as they shared their experiences.
An Instagram user named Abhiruchi Gupta, who allegedly attended the concert, shared her disappointment on social media via a post. Calling herself a fan of Jasmine Sandlas, she said the experience left her upset."The show was supposed to start at 8 pm," she claimed.
"jasminesandlas you came at 11:20 with no acknowledgement or apology at all ?? THREE HOURS LATE !!!And then you come and lip sync, literally what, on a live show??? Then leave abruptly at end, without any thank you, sorry or anything at all!!" she wrote.
The attendee further went on to say that she would not recommend Jasmine's shows in the future, describing the concert as "a very bad experience" and "my worst experience of a live performance."
In her post, Abhiruchi also claimed that the performance appeared to be pre-recorded, alleging that Jasmine was lip-syncing on stage. She also said that the singer seemed out of sync at certain points during the act. The post soon attracted reactions from other attendees as well, many of whom had similar complaints about the concert and its management.
One user wrote, "Terrible experience! We waited from 8 to 11.30 and then left since we had a long way to travel back. There was no intimation about the delay. The managerial staff is the worst, with the rudest attitude. People should be warned about how Quake events are scams of the worst kind."
Another user added, "Indeed, very bad experience and pathetic management!" A user further alleged, "Every quakearenahyd show begins 3 hours late. EVERY FU''''G SHOW at Quake. I am so glad I skipped this even when I wanted to go so bad." Another social media user went on to call it a "super flop show."
