Amar Ujala reported that the organisers of the Nagada Night event have accused Anjali Arora of leaving the show midway and making derogatory remarks about Kanpur's residents. A legal notice has also been issued to her manager, Preeti Dubey, seeking Rs 1.20 crore in compensation along with a public apology within 15 days.

According to organisers, Anjali recieved Rs 3 lakh for her appearance at the event, while over Rs 1 lakh was spent on her travel arrangements. Advocate Karim Ahmed Siddiqui also warned that he would approach court if the police refused to register the case.

Separately, an application has been submitted to the Swaroop Nagar police station in Delhi, requesting the registration of a fraud case against the influencer and her manager.

Advocate Karim Ahmed Siddiqui further revealed that the legal notice demands Rs 1 crore in damages for alleged defamation and an additional Rs 20 lakh for financial losses reportedly caused by Anjali Arora's abrupt exit from the event. The organisers claimed she was expected to spend 45 minutes on stage and felicitate sponsors and special guests by presenting them with mementoes. Her allegedly early exit, they said, insulted the guests and caused financial losses.

The organisers claimed that Anjali was paid Rs 3 lakh for the event, while more than Rs 1 lakh was spent on her travel arrangements. He also warned that he would approach the court if the police failed to register a case.

Anjali Arora is yet to comment on the controversy.
