Kangana Ranaut has hit back at several celebrities and public figures who have criticised her over the years. From Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood to Rakhi Sawant and Taapsee Pannu, the actor-politician questioned their achievements and said she would only take advice from those more successful than her.
She said to IANS, "I see such people every day, whether it is Ashutosh Rana, who says that I bark like a dog, or Sonu Sood, who says that I should learn how to behave. People like Rakhi Sawant, who make all kinds of vulgar comments about my character, and Taapsee Pannu, who keep insulting my parents, my upbringing and my background."
She continued, "My only message to these people is that if you have not achieved even one per cent of the success I have achieved in life, I will not listen to any advice from you. These unwanted people keep abusing me in the media just to get attention."
The actress also called out Baba Ramdev, accusing him of crossing all limits. She added, "These hungry, helpless people cannot lash out at me. They do not even spare parents. People like Ashutosh Rana say that I bark like a dog. First become Kangana Ranaut yourself. I will take advice from people who are more successful than me. I will not take advice from failed, stupid, disgusting people."
Recently, Taapsee opened up about her equation with Kangana during a media interaction. Revealing that she has not met Kangana, Taapsee shared that her opinion about Kangana was reflective of her upbringing and her way of talking and perceiving things. On Saturday, Kangana had accused Taapsee of questioning her upbringing. Taapsee Pannu shared a cryptic post on her social media handle on Sunday, taking a dig at her.
Talking about her spat with Baba Ramdev, the clash stems from remarks Kangana made online regarding young protesters. Kangana had earlier labelled certain young protesters at Delhi's Jantar Mantar protest as 'generation gutter'. Weighing in on the controversy during a media interaction, Baba Ramdev criticised the actor-politician's comments.
Kangana shared a screenshot of a news article quoting Baba Ramdev as saying, "What were her past deeds like, and what was her youth like?" Kangana responded to the yog guru, writing, "Baba ji, don't daydream about my jawani or bedroom. One can only assume based on rumours and gossip."
