Karan Johar is presenting Ritesh Batra's The Lunchbox in India. But when we contacted the filmmaker on June 10, he chose not reply to our SMS about his plan. Batra had even went to the extent of stating that he was unaware of any such development and the producer should be the one to dispense the correct information.
Co-producer Guneet Monga had denied the news while KJo's spokesperson also denied it saying that the producer-director had just seen the film and had merely tweeted about it. There was nothing more to it. On June 8, Karan had stated on his microblogging site "To feel happy and sad at the movies.. to feel limited and elated at the movies.. to learn and applaud a genius love story.
