There couldn't be a better birthday surprise for Shah Rukh Khan's fans! The superstar has unveiled Tu Mil Jaaye, the first song from his upcoming action entertainer KING, and it brings together some exciting names from the worlds of music and cinema. Featuring Arijit Singh's glorious vocals and Ed Sheeran's distinct rap style, the song marks an unprecedented global music collaboration and reunites the much-loved on-screen pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Giving audiences an exciting glimpse into the world of KING, the music video opens with Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue: "Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de", immediately setting the tone for his character. Blending romance, action and dehshat, the song introduces audiences to a new side of KING, revealing the many shades of the film beyond its music.
The track offers a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's romantic relationship, as the two are seen enjoying romantic getaways, visiting cafes and spending quality time together on a beach. However, the romantic moments take a turn as the narrative shifts to Shah Rukh's involvement in illegal smuggling in the film, hinting at trouble in paradise.
The video closes with another powerful dialogue by SRK: "Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi", bringing the focus back to the aura and intensity that define KING.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, KING arrives in cinemas worldwide on December 24, 2026. The film marks SRK's second collaboration with director-producer Siddharth Anand after Pathaan. It is a slick, high-octane action entertainer that redefines style, charisma and thrills, and is set to be Siddharth Anand's massiest film yet, taking his signature action storytelling to a whole new dimension.
The film also marks Deepika's return to the big screen after embracing motherhood for the second time.
