After her debut in Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), Bhumi Pednekar was to team up with co-star Ayushmann Khurrana again in Manmarziyan. After a bit of shooting early last year, the project was shelved.
It is being revived again, but with a fresh cast. Far from being disheartened, Bhumi landed a role opposite Akshay Kumar in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Now she has teamed up with Ayushmann for Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Life has come full circle for Bhumi who holds Ayushmann in high regard as he was her first hero.
