Maa Behen makers announce the crime comedy's release date on Madhuri Dixit's birthday

What happens when a dysfunctional mother-daughter trio, Rekha, Jaya, and Sushma, find themselves in the middle of their biggest nightmare, or as they would call it, ek bada kaand? Netflix marked Madhuri Dixit's birthday with a surprise for fans, revealing the premiere date of the much-awaited film Maa Behen.

Premiering on June 4, Maa Behen is a crime comedy packed with chaos, comedy, and full-blown kaand. With the film, Netflix brings audiences a wildly entertaining story that blends small-town eccentricity with universal family madness.

About Maa Behen

At the heart of the mayhem is Rekha, a mother who's already juggling enough until life throws her the ultimate curveball: a dead body in her kitchen. With her two daughters, Jaya, the responsible one, and Sushma, the wild card, this trio must think fast, lie faster, and somehow keep their nosy neighbours from sniffing out the truth.

Backing this chaos is the talented trio Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri, and Dharna Durgaa, alongside the beloved Ravi Kishan. They are joined by a versatile ensemble cast including Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Shardul Bhardwaj.
