Mrunal Thakur has addressed the dating rumours surrounding her and Indian cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal after a video of the two at the same Mumbai café went viral. The actor dismissed the speculation, urging social media users not to believe unverified claims. This is not the first time Mrunal has been linked to a celebrity, with earlier rumours claiming she was dating actor Dhanush.

Mrunal took to the comments section of her clip with Yashasvi and wrote, "Bro, relax… show me ek sath kahan? Kaise yaar, aap log itne padhe likhe log aise afwaao ko sach manne lagte hain? Desh mein kya kuch nahi ho raha hain. Gen Z se kuch sikhiye aur sahi muddon par videos baniye aur jyaada views mileenge. (Bro, relax… where did you see us together? How do you guys, being such educated people, start believing these rumours? So much is happening in the country. Mrunal Thakur and Indian cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal were seen together in a video taken at a café in Bandra West, Mumbai. On social media, the video swiftly gained popularity. Yashasvi Jaiswal has become one of India's most promising young cricketers since making his international debut in 2023.

When Mrunal Thakur was linked to Dhanush

Previously, in 2025, Mrunal Thakur was linked to actor Dhanush. Reports also claimed that the two stars were going to get married in 2026. The rumours about Dhanush and Mrunal's close bond began circulating after the two were seen holding hands at a party in Mumbai. Dismissing the rumours, Mrunal had said, "I don't know who started this… First of all, I've been quoted, but I never said anything. And they just said, ‘Mrunal said so.' I was like, wow, how beautiful. It's scary."

The actress was recently in the news after she raised concerns about her deepfake content circulating online and warned against the misuse of her identity. The actress shared a strong-worded note on X, warning of legal action.
