Actor Vikrant Massey has officially announced the name of his production house as Homemade Stories, starting a significant new chapter in his creative journey. Along with announcing the name of his production venture, he also unveiled the teaser of the banner's production debut, Musafir Cafe, and confirmed its release date.
The romantic drama, which stars Vikrant, Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto, is set to premiere on Netflix on 24th July 2026. The announcement teaser gives audiences a first glimpse into a heartfelt, emotionally driven story the banner aims to tell.
Over the years, Vikrant has carved a name for himself by consistently choosing content-driven cinema and delivering memorable performances. His National Award-winning journey is proof of his commitment to meaningful storytelling. With Musafir Cafe, he brings romance and heartfelt human emotions, reiterating his belief that simple, honest stories can leave an impact.
Set in the scenic locations of Bhopal and Mussoorie, Musafir Cafe follows three strangers whose lives become unexpectedly intertwined. Massey plays Chander Mohan Sharma, a man on a journey to find meaning and a life that feels truly his own. Meanwhile, Vedika Pinto portrays Sudha, an independent woman determined to shape her own future, and Mahima Makwana plays Preeti, whose quiet strength and emotional depth play a key role in the unfolding narrative.
The series revolves around the lives of three musafirs whose journeys gradually become intertwined in unexpected ways. Created and written by Sharanya Rajgopal and directed by Ruchir Arun, Musafir Café is based on the beloved novel by Divya Prakash Dubey.
Along with the three leading stars, the series also features Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra, and Sadia Siddiqui. The series is produced by Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) and Homemade Stories.
Apart from Musafir Cafe, Vikrant has many interesting projects lined up such as Yaar Jigri, Talaakhon Mein Ek, and White in the pipeline. In the international thriller, White, Vikrant Massey plays the role of spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The film highlights a lesser-explored chapter of history, showing how the spiritual leader contributed to peace initiatives that eventually helped bring an end to Colombia's prolonged 52-year civil conflict.
