Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra's journey has been nothing short of a dream for many. She entered showbiz after winning Miss World 2000 at the age of 18, before stepping into movies a couple of years later. She tasted immediate success and critical acclaim with films such as Andaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz, and Fashion. After establishing herself as the Hindi film industry's leading female star in the 2010s, she headed to Hollywood in 2016.
Priyanka, during an interview with PTI, spoke about her choice of films as a producer, sharing, "As a producer, I'm empathetic, and our ethos is a lot around wanting to give opportunities to newer filmmakers or filmmakers that want to achieve something that they haven't been able to or are kind of hitting a wall somewhere. My production side kind of comes from what personally moves me."
Further talking about backing non-mainstream films as a producer, Priyanka said, "I didn't know why I was gravitating towards filmmakers and stories that were maybe marginalised or told that they're not what is expected...As I'm talking about it, I think it does come from the fact that when I joined the industry, I didn't have it. I was trying to navigate this crazy movie industry by myself with my parents, who were doctors and who also had no idea about the business. And I kind of felt really lost."
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to headline a fireside conversation at BRIDGE Summit 2025 titled Mastering Your Craft in a World Obsessed with More. The session, moderated by Anas Bukhash, founder and host of AB Talks, is taking place on 9 December at 10.00 AM on the Forum Stage. It is expected to explore how intentionality, disciplined focus, and the power of saying no can promote creative work and shape long-term excellence.
At BRIDGE Summit 2025, Priyanka is expected to reflect on how early global visibility, demanding work cycles, and transitions across industries have helped define the discipline she relies on today. She will also speak about why doing fewer things with clarity has become central to sustaining high-quality output across her creative ventures.
