Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni are gearing up for the release of Daadi Ki Shaadi. The makers of the film hosted a special screening, which was attended by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. A video of Ranbir Kapoor snapping at paparazzi has gone viral. The actor appeared visibly irritated as photographers swarmed around them.
On Tuesday, he and Alia stepped out in Mumbai to attend a special screening of Daadi Ki Shaadi. Ranbir wore a muted teal polo shirt with loose, light beige trousers, while Alia opted for an all-black ensemble featuring a structured shirt and wide-legged pants.
While making their way to the Excel Entertainment office for the screening, Ranbir is seen losing his cool as photographers crowd around them, trying to capture pictures. He momentarily snapped, asking the paparazzi to step back. He then checked if they wanted proper photos and requested space. "Aap logon ko photo chahiye⦠chalo," Ranbir is heard saying. The couple later happily posed for them.
As the video went viral, netizens supported the actor. One comment read, "The paparazzi need to maintain a certain distance from celebrities⦠you cannot come too close or push your cameras in their face. Most importantly, just because you have a camera or mobile phone, it doesn't mean one can start clicking pictures. Ask for their permission and then click."
A few days back, Ranbir was also seen grooving with his mom on the song Senti. The film is all set to release on May 8 and marks his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's debut. The film also stars Kapil Sharma and Sadia Khateeb. It revolves around Neetu Kapoor playing Sadia's grandmother, who decides to remarry, jeopardising the latter's union with Kapil Sharma.
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are all set to share screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, which is releasing in January 2027. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal in a lead role. Apart from this, Alia has Alpha in her pipeline.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently awaiting the release of Ramayana, where he will essay the role of Lord Rama. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Yash as Ravana, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. He also has Animal Park in his kitty.
