Actor Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly leased out his former apartment, Vastu, in the upscale Pali Hill area in Bandra West, Mumbai. The actor's apartment was rented out for a monthly rent of Rs 11 lakh for five years.
According to documents accessed by Zapkey, the leave-and-license agreement for the apartment situated on the seventh floor of the Vaastu Building in Pali Hill in Mumbai. The lease agreement was reportedly registered on May 19, 2026. The apartment, spread across 2,460 sq ft, was allegedly purchased by the Bollywood actor for Rs 35 crore in 2016 and was designed by Gauri Khan. The apartment has been designed by superstar Shah Rukh Khan's wife and interior designer Gauri Khan.
The apartment has reportedly been rented by an individual named Aditya Shukla for a five-year term with a 5 per cent escalation clause. The rental deal also includes a security deposit of Rs 45 lakh, according to the documents.
Interestingly, the Pali Hill house is extra special for Ranbir Kapoor since he has not just lived there for almost a decade, but also because, reportedly, this is the same home where he married his longtime girlfriend, Alia Bhatt. The couple tied the knot on April 14, on the balcony of this home. They have also shared many special moments together at this home. Their wedding was an intimate affair in the presence of only his family members and close friends.
In 2025, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with their daughter Raha, moved into their lavish, newly renovated home, the iconic Krishna Raj Bungalow, which is also located in Pali Hill. The mansion is one of the most expensive celebrity residences in the city, valued at a whopping Rs 250 crore.
It is a six-storey bungalow co-owned by Ranbir Kapoor's mother and actress Neetu Kapoor. The bungalow is named after Rishi Kapoor's mother, and hence, the property holds significant sentimental value for the Kapoor family.
Notably, Ranbir also purchased a land parcel in Ayodhya recently. The 2,134 sq ft plot is reportedly valued at Rs 3.31 crore.
