Dhurandhar 2 is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The first part, released in December 2025, emerged as a massive box-office success. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The first instalment is currently streaming on Netflix; however, it appears that Part 2 may be headed to a different platform for its digital release.

Dhurandhar 2 streaming rights

The makers of Dhurandhar recently unveiled a new poster teasing the sequel and officially announced its title as Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The striking poster offers a glimpse into the next chapter of the high-octane blockbuster franchise.

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to share the poster, drenched in deep, ominous red tones that instantly set a dark and intense mood. At the centre stands the actor, soaked in rain, staring straight ahead with a fierce, unflinching expression.

Behind him, carved into a blood-red wall, looms the title The Revenge, dominating the background like a warning. The release date - 19.03.26 - is prominently displayed at the top, signalling the film's theatrical arrival. The poster strongly hints at a darker and more ferocious chapter ahead.

Notably, the poster features the logos of Star Gold and JioHotstar, indicating that the satellite and OTT rights for Dhurandhar 2 have been sold to the respective platforms. The first part is currently streaming on Netflix.

Dhurandhar 2 resumes with Hamza Ali Mazhari, an Indian undercover agent who has successfully infiltrated Pakistan's underworld. After taking down Rehman Dakait, Hamza rises through the ranks of power, only to face his most formidable adversary yet - Major Iqbal, the ISI mastermind known as Bade Sahab.

Dhurandhar on Netflix

The Ranveer Singh-starrer began streaming on Netflix from January 30. However, the film faced criticism from audiences who felt the OTT version was trimmed and compromised in quality. Many viewers complained that the re-edited version diluted the essence of the film, with several slamming Netflix for hampering the cinematic experience. The fresh edits sparked debate over the need for additional sanitisation.

Addressing the concerns, a source close to Netflix India clarified, "Netflix has exhibited the film exactly as it was provided by the studio. The platform does not re-edit certified feature films."

According to the source, the version supplied for streaming was already the modified cut that played in theatres. A revised version of the film was reportedly screened from January 1, 2026, after the makers removed the term ‘Baloch'. "That is the shorter version and the same is streaming on Netflix. It is identical to the theatrical CBFC-approved version. As with all theatrical films, the three-minute runtime difference is due to elements such as interval plates or in-theatre ad requirements that do not carry over to digital platforms," the source added.
