Saif Ali Khan has already revealed plans of making a sequel to 'Go Goa Gone' (2013), but it won't be without his ex-production partner Dinesh Vijan. The duo parted ways three years ago.

Dinesh says, "Saif and I are talking about a sequel to Go Goa Gone. He is leading the project and the script is now being developed. It'll be produced under Illuminati Films [which he co-founded with Saif]."

The 2013 film starring Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das chronicled the unfortunate encounter of a group of friends with zombies while partying in Goa.

"The humorous dialogues in the original were appreciated by the audience. We are bringing the original cast together for the sequel."

Incidentally, Go Goa Gone was the duo's last project together. In 2014, Dinesh cited personal growth as a reason to branch out and launch his production house, Maddock Films. Dinesh Vijan had then quelled rumours of a rift with Saif Ali Khan, insisting they would collaborate in future.

"It ended amicably. We met at work and became good friends. Our friendship has always gone beyond work and we have shared a great bond. He has been instrumental in my growth," he says.

A busy work schedule, says Dinesh, makes it difficult for them to "meet and bounce ideas off of each other". "But I wished Saif before Rangoon's release and when Taimur (son) was born," he adds.

Now is excited about his directorial debut, Raabta, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon; it releases next month. "We are having a crazy schedule editing the film, but it's fun. This is my toughest film till date."
