YRF unveils Saiyaara teaser — Mohit Suri’s intense love story introduces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda

The wait is finally over - Yash Raj Films has released the teaser for Mohit Suri's much-anticipated love story, Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The teaser beautifully captures love, heartbreak, deep pain, and the longing for a happy ending. Marking Ahaan Panday's debut, Saiyaara is one of the biggest Bollywood launches backed by industry heavyweights Aditya Chopra, Mohit Suri, and producer Akshaye Widhani.

True to its name, the teaser leaves audiences wanting more, offering glimpses of first love moments, intimate scenes, and the iconic YRF portrayal of a heartbroken lover fighting for his beloved.

Saiyaara - explained

There has been tremendous amount of curiosity around the title ‘Saiyaara' and the teaser revealed its meaning. Saiyaara plainly means a wandering celestial body, but in poetry it's often used to describe something (or someone) dazzling, ethereal, or otherworldly - a wandering star - always shining, always guiding, but always out of reach.

YRF, in its 50 year history, is known for giving India some of the cult romantic films of all time. Mohit Suri, who is currently in his 20th year in cinema, has also directed some of the most favourite romantic films like Aashiqui 2, Malang, Ek Villain, etc.

Ahaan Panday's debuts with Yash Raj Films

Ahaan Panday's much anticipated debut has been carefully crafted by the legendary filmmaker Aditya Chopra. A source revealed that Yash Raj Films (YRF) has kept Ahaan under wraps for years, allowing him to focus solely on honing his skills before stepping into the spotlight.

"Ahaan has been shaped by Aditya Chopra personally for years. He has been kept under wraps by YRF so that he can focus on bettering his craft." Adding to this, the source explained that Chunky Panday's nephew is about to make the biggest debut Hindi cinema has seen, "To the industry, Ahaan Panday's launch is by far the biggest debut by a youngster in the Hindi film industry in years and YRF is showing its intent to create a star out of him. The massive project that he has been signed on for is the Mohit Suri love story!"

Saiyaara is set to release on July 18, 2025 in theatres worldwide.
