Salman Khan recently made a stylish appearance at the IIFA 2027 press conference. The actor was seen posing for paps and interacting with the media at the star-studded event on Thursday, October 22. While posing for photographs, the actor had a message for the paparazzi.

Salman Khan warns paps

While speaking to the paps stationed at the venue, Salman told them, "Peeche ka yaad rakh lena, itni izzat to de hi sakte ho sab log, urging photographers to be mindful of how they capture celebrities.

Notably, Salman's remark comes days after he raised concerns about paps taking pictures of actresses from behind without their consent. The actor had also brought up the issue on Bigg Boss 20 in September.

Salman Khan slammed paps

During an episode of Bigg Boss 20, Salman revisited the issue when actor Neha Dhupia appeared as a guest on the show. Neha thanked the actor for speaking up about the practice, which prompted him to explain why photographers needed to respect individual boundaries.

Salman highlighted that while some celebrities allegedly call photographers and pay them for such pictures, others are often uncomfortable with being clicked that way. "There are also some women and some guys who call them (paps) there, pay for them there, they ask them to do this. Wo bhi kya krein?" he said.

He also stressed that it is important for photographers to understand the difference between celebrities who are comfortable with such pictures and those who have clearly objected to them. He said, "Jinko chahiye wo karo bhai. Jinko nahi chahiye unko chuna nahi tum"

"When you girls come and say ki 'Ye nahi karna', uske baad karenge to phir dekhenge unko," he added. Salman had also expressed concern that his earlier remarks had not been taken seriously. In fact, he said that the practice appeared to have increased despite his warning. He also said that he was prepared to take further action.

"Now they started doing even more but I'll take a big stand on it," he said, adding, "They think right now it is a joke. And, some big platforms are doing it. I'll take full on action." He also slammed paps on Koffee with Karan 9.
