Salman takes the stage to accept an award after 14 years

A source says, "It is ironic that when Salman started his career, he didn't win any awards. But when he actually began winning trophies, he didn't go to collect them. However, for this one he made an exception."

The last time Sallu accepted an award himself was for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The source says, "When the result was announced he couldn't believe he had won. Members of the audience had to prompt him to go to the stage and accept his trophy."
