Sanjay Dutt is a relieved man. Bhoomi, his much-discussed Bollywood comeback - after he was released from prison in February 2016 following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case - is out today.

Though his wife Maanayata and kids Shahraan and Iqra are by his side on his big day, the actor misses sharing the joy with daughter Trishala Dutt (from first wife, late Richa Sharma).

"Trishala is unable to come down as she is busy with her studies," rues the actor before adding with a smile, "But, she is sending all her love to Papa dukes - that's what she calls me."

Staying true to the father-daughter drama, in a sentimental move, Dutt had released the trailer of the film on Trishala's birthday (August 10).

Trishala's recorded message was played at the event, which had left him teary-eyed. "It gives me so much joy to know that you've chosen a film based on a father-daughter relationship as your comeback film. I'm proud of you Dad," she had said.

Sanjay Dutt's last stint in front of the camera was PK (2014). About the experience of facing the camera after a long haul, Dutt says, "Once the camera rolled, it was the same feeling again."
