Shah Rukh Khan to replace Ranveer Singh in 'Padmavati'?

The industry grapevine is abuzz that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is considering replacing Ranveer Singh in Padmavati.

It seems the filmmaker is furious with the actor for asking for a copy of the script. Ranveer had been signed for the historical about Alauddin Khilji, who is enamoured by the beauty of the Mewar queen, Padmavati which is being played by his real-life ladylove, Deepika Padukone. Bhansali has already started meeting other actors for Ranveer's replacement.

Shah Rukh Khan is leading the race. There is also strong buzz that Shahid Kapoor will play Deepika's on-screen husband - Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

The film is set to roll in three weeks and I just can't wait for the suspense to get over.
