Speaking to mid day, Sinha clarified, "I get this routine check up done every three months and since I did not get the time for it due to my election campaign, which was quite tedious, I decided to come to Mumbai for a check up. Doctors have told me that everything is fine with me, and I shall be going to Delhi on Monday." The actor is likely to discharged by Saturday evening.
When queried if his name is on the list of ministers, the actor just laughed it off. Sinha has been a minister in the BJP government in the past. Apart from being a Rajya Sabha member twice, he was also Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare (Jan 2003-May 2004) and Shipping (Aug 2004). He was also elected to 15th Lok Sabha in 2009.
