Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi's daughter, Kaveri, 16, released her second single recently. Titled Again, the track has been written, sung and composed by her.
"I feel fortunate to be able to pursue music. My parents have encouraged me to be fearless and pursue my passion. I want to write more songs and grow as an artiste," says Kaveri.
Kapur adds, "Our daughter is fiercely individualistic. Her music is from her soul. I'm proud of her. I'd love it if she sang for films, but it has to be her decision. Right now, she is preparing for her next single with AR Rahman."
