Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding is the talk of the town. There is immense excitement and buzz among fans for the couple's wedding. Several media houses and paparazzi had stationed outside Jaisalmer airport and Suryagarh palace to get quotes and photographs of the groom and bride-to-be and their guests. However, in a funny incident, the media mistook a foreign tourist as a guest at the big fat Indian wedding.
A video of a tourist being mistaken as a guest at Sidharth and Kiara's wedding has gone viral on social media. In the video, a man is seen interacting with the media as he gets quizzed about his reason for the visit to the city. The tourist, visibly amazed at the treatment reveals he is in the state to visit the desert and does not know anything about the wedding that has being dominating the news. "What wedding?' the tourist is heard asking the media when they mentioned that they are her for the wedding. When the media inform him that Sidharth and Kiara are getting married, he responds, "I don't know what you are talking about".

Sidharth and Kiara's wedding was a star-studded event. Several Bollywood celebrities like Shahid Kapoor along with his wife Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla, Armaan Jain attended the wedding. Other than actors, ace Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar and celebrity fashion designer, Manish Malhotra were the key guests at the wedding.
For the wedding, the couple opted for Manish Malhotra-designed outfits. Kiara stunned in a custom ombre Manish Malhotra lehenga in hues of empress rose. The lehenga features intricate embroidery detailing of the roman architecture, inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes. Sidharth opted for the perfect amalgamation of whimsical and dreamy in a custom Manish Malhotra creation. Exuding old world charm, Sidharth wore a metallic gold sherwani with an exquisite royal lustre.
