An avid traveller, actor Ashmit Patel likes to visit new countries as often as possible. He shares with CS his recent memorable travel adventures:

Vietnam: A travel haven
I spent two weeks in Vietnam recently. Be it trekking up the Fansipan mountain range in Sapa Valley to the north, kayaking in the limestone islands in Lan Ha bay in the east, sunbathing on the beach in Nha Trang, doing adventure sports like abseiling and free fall jumping in Dalat or simply cruising down the Mekong delta in a boat in the south; every day was memorable. The sheer diversity and beauty of Vietnam and its people was amazing.

Saluting the Cambodian spirit
It was fantastic seeing the joie de vivre of the Cambodians when I visited their country. I am glad that I did my bit to support the Cambodian tourism industry. I spent a few days in Siem Reap to see the famous Angkor Wat temple. Its magnificence was truly overwhelming. Also, Cambodian food is now my favourite.

The magical Maldives
Maldives is one of the most romantic places I have seen with its white sand beaches and turquoise waters. It was great fun indulging in water sports like parasailing, tube boating and snorkelling.u00a0
