As Sunny Leone spins her way through packed venues across continents on her DJ World Tour 2026, the actor insists that music is only the latest addition to an ever-evolving career. While embracing her new avatar behind the console, Leone says acting remains her "first passion", even as Kennedy (2023) continues to open unexpected doors internationally.

"I don't know about it becoming a primary identity. I love what I do, and I love doing so many different things," Leone says of DJing. "This is just another chapter of evolving into something different. Acting is my first passion, and everything else I do is just icing on the cake."

Having already performed in India, Thailand, and Canada, Leone says Indian audiences are among her favourites. "Whenever I'm in India, I think that's the most fun that I have because people are just so passionate and so much fun." She also recalls a packed Canadian show as "unbelievable" and "wall-to-wall people".

Despite spending over a decade in India, Leone says people still assume she cannot speak Hindi. "Yes, I speak Hindi. I do speak Hindi. I speak it fluently," she says, adding that people often make the assumption because of her American accent. "The thing that drives me bananas is someone saying, ‘Ab hum Hindi mein baat karenge.'"

Anurag Kashyap and Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone says Anurag Kashyap's ‘Kennedy' changed the perception about her as an actor. She shared, "Filmmakers definitely do see me a little bit differently, which is amazing. Out of ‘Kennedy' came some international projects that I didn't think were possible."
