The makers of Tera Mera Nata have unveiled the trailer of the upcoming family drama, offering a glimpse into a story packed with love, sacrifice and relationships. Ahead of its theatrical release on June 26, the film is drawing attention for its emotional core, particularly the bond shared by actors Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala and Suraj.
The film had earlier premiered at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, where it received a positive response from international audiences. Now, with the trailer out, the makers are gearing up to bring the story to Indian viewers.
Starring Suraj, Ambika Vani, Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala, Pankaj Berry, Meghna Panchal and Pragya Mishra, the film blends romance and family drama while exploring themes of human connection and sacrifice.
While the trailer introduces a romantic track between Suraj and Ambika Vani's characters, it is the emotional relationship between Suraj and Dipika's characters that appears to be the heart of the narrative.
The trailer showcases moments of unconditional love, support and sacrifice, hinting at a deeply emotional journey. Suraj's performance stands out as he navigates various phases of his character's life, from romance to personal struggles and self-discovery.
Speaking about the film, Suraj said, "This film has been a very special experience for me. My character goes through love, sacrifice, and self-discovery, and I tried to portray those emotions honestly. Working with Dipika ji was a privilege. Her experience, warmth, and guidance helped me immensely, and our mother-son scenes are among the most emotional moments in the film."
Producer-director Chanda Patel said the film celebrates emotions and relationships that resonate across cultures.
"Tera Mera Nata is a story that celebrates relationships and emotions that connect all of us. The appreciation we received at Cannes was truly encouraging, and we are excited to share this journey with audiences across India," she said.

Directed by Chanda Patel and Swatantra Goel, Tera Mera Nata is slated to release in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
