Salman Khan has given Bhuvan Bam and Nikkhil Advani's historical drama The Revolutionaries a special shoutout. The superstar recently took to Instagram Stories to share a video featuring Bam and Advani watching the series with him, alongside glimpses of its trailer.
The video shared by Salman is split into two frames. One shows the actor sitting with Bhuvan and Nikkhil as they watch The Revolutionaries on an iPad, while the other features moments from the series' trailer. Salman also shared the post with the hashtag The Revolutionaries, suggesting he had spent some time checking out the show.
The gesture soon became a special moment for Bhuvan, who later shared pictures from his meeting with Salman. "Revolutionaries touch the heart, not the mind. Watched the show with beingsalmankhan at his house. A huge thank you to our captain nikkhiladvani for trusting me with this project and taking The Revolutionaries all the way to Galaxy. Quite literally," he wrote.
For Bam, the project marks a notable shift as he steps into a historical drama inspired by India's freedom struggle. The actor stars alongside Rohit Saraf, Gurfateh Pirzada and Pratibha Ranta in the series.
Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, The Revolutionaries explores the stories of lesser-known figures associated with India's independence movement. The series draws from Sanjeev Sanyal's book Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom and brings personalities including Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Bagha Jatin and Pratibha Lahiri into its narrative.
The ensemble also features Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury in important roles. The writing team includes Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, Akshita Wadhwana, Shobhit Narang and Rutvi Mehta.
Produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment, the series is available in Hindi, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.
The Revolutionaries began streaming on Prime Video on September 11. With Salman Khan now giving the series his own social-media nod, the historical drama has another high-profile name joining the conversation around it. Salman Khan is currently hosting the reality show Bigg Boss 20.
