The Vvaan is set to take audiences into a mystical world of fantasy, folklore and supernatural intrigue. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in a fresh pairing, the much-awaited teaser will reportedly be released in two parts, offering a glimpse into the film's larger-than-life universe.
The Vvaan - Force of the Forest teaser introduces a dark, mystical world steeped in supernatural mystery. The forbidden forest is governed by a chilling rule: "Suryast ke baad, Vvaan mein pravesh karna varjit hai." Malhotra's character is drawn into this dangerous world and soon finds himself battling mysterious forces. We later see Tamannaah's character performing pooja, during which she too battles deadly forces, only to realise that Sidharth's character has a past associated with it.
The teaser comes amid reports stating that The Vvaan: Force of the Forest is undergoing extensive reshoots and re-editing. The project has also seen changes in its direction team. Originally announced for a Chhath Puja release in 2025, The Vvaan was subsequently pushed to May 2026 and then August 28. It is now slated to arrive in cinemas on September 25. The earlier postponements were officially attributed to extended post-production and visual effects work.
While its world is rooted in folklore and fantasy, the film brings together adventure, mystery and humour to shape itself as a complete family entertainer. The ambition extends beyond the film, with The Legend of Vvaan comic book already introducing audiences to the larger folklore surrounding its universe. Sidharth and Tamannaah make a dreamy pair on screen, their fresh pairing adding an emotional layer to the larger-than-life spectacle.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Sidharth shared The Vvaan's teaser with a caption that read, "Humari Rakshak hain woh, jinki Sher savaari hai! 25th Sept ko aa rahi Vvaan ki kahani hai!"
Apart from him and Tamannaah, the movie features Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Anup Soni and Maniesh Paul. The Vvaan brings together TVF's Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor.
While The Vvaan will arrive in cinemas on September 25, the folklore thriller will eventually have a digital premiere. Amazon Prime Video has been locked as the streaming partner for the film.
