In Pic: Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan is one of the sweetest and most fun-loving actors of Bollywood. He is often caught on camera having fun banter with journalists and paparazzi. While some of these banters were forgotten, there is one incident that lives in everyone's heart rent-free. Whenever the video pops up on our feed, we can't do anything but giggle. On Varun Dhawan's birthday, here's a throwback remembering the time when he compared his Dilwale with Christopher Nolan's Inception.
During the press conference of Varun's much-loved film Dilwale, which starred him alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Kriti Sanon, he was asked about his upcoming film and made a hilarious comment that invited a lot of trolling. The actor, while reacting to what's there in the film, said, "You've seen Inception? You understood it? You liked it? Then you will like Dilwale also! There is a lot to our film. There is a plot, story, and it is logical and is a full-on 2015 film which has a lot of twists and turns."

Dilwale (2015) is a Bollywood action-romance film directed by Rohit Shetty, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, and Kriti Sanon. It blends love, comedy, and high-octane action, revolving around two estranged lovers and their siblings.
On the work front, the actor has a packed schedule ahead. He will next be seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, where he stars opposite Pooja Hegde. He is also preparing for Border 2, which brings together a powerful cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh, the movie is a follow-up to the 1997 war film Border, a major hit that depicted the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
In the coming months, Varun will also be seen sharing screen space with Janhvi Kapoor in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Originally slated for release on April 18 this year, the makers have now postponed the release date due to undisclosed reasons. The film, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, will now hit theatres on September 12.
The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi in prominent roles. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
