After Madgaon Express, Kunal Kemmu is all set for his second directorial venture titled Vibe. What's more special is that Preity Zinta will be seen joining Kunal in the upcoming high-stakes action-comedy film. Produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under the banner of Drongo Films, the film is expected to release in theatres on September 18 this year.
Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, Vibe marks the return of Preity Zinta to the screen. Laaptaa Ladies fame Sparsh Shrivastava will be seen joining Preity and Kunal in the film, playing a crucial role, along with debutant Vanshika Dhir.
Vibe is reportedly about two inseparable friends whose ordinary lives suddenly turn into an unpredictable, high-energy adventure that pushes their survival instincts and friendship to the limit.
Sharing the announcement on social media, the makers dropped a poster along with the caption, "punch aur punchline dono guaranteed with VIBEâ¦Releasing in cinemas near you on Sept 18 (sic)."
Preity Zinta re-shared the announcement poster on her handle, adding, "Hi All, 18th Sept will be such a Vibe See you in a Theatre near you very soon Ting Vibe (sic)."
Preity Zinta is seemingly gearing up for a grand Bollywood comeback with not one but two back-to-back releases. The actress will be seen making her comeback with Lahore 1947. She has already started working on the comeback project, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The film will also mark her reunion with actor Sunny Deol. Apart from Sunny and Preity, Lahore 1947 also stars Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal, among others. It is touted to be a period drama based on Asghar Wajahat's drama Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya, O Jamya E Nai. Lahore 1947 is scheduled for release on August 13, 2026, during Independence Day.
This will be followed by Vibe, which is expected to be released on September 18, marking two back-to-back releases in just over a month for Preity. The actress is currently busy with the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, cheering and supporting her team, the Punjab Kings.
