Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh faced an unexpected disruption during his concert at the Chase Center in San Francisco after a man allegedly carrying a Khalistan flag breached security and rushed onto the stage.
The incident occurred during one of Diljit's back-to-back performances in California as part of his Aura World Tour.
Videos from the concert have since gone viral on social media, showing the singer performing on stage when the individual suddenly appeared near him, waving the flag.
In the clips circulating online, Diljit can be seen immediately stopping his performance after noticing the man dancing close to him. Security personnel quickly intervened and escorted the individual off the stage. Other videos allegedly show local police officers detaining the man outside the performance area.
According to reports, the individual was removed from the venue and later arrested. Diljit has not yet publicly commented on the latest incident.
This is not the first time the singer's overseas concerts have witnessed disruptions linked to pro-Khalistan supporters.
Earlier this year, during his Aura 2026 tour stop in Canada, a group of individuals reportedly raised pro-Khalistan slogans and waved separatist flags inside the venue. Security personnel allegedly removed them from the concert premises.
Following the Canada incident, Diljit had addressed the issue through a statement on social media. He clarified that he had no problem with people carrying banners or flags to show support, but strongly objected to anyone attempting to harass fans or disrupt his performances.
The singer had stated that the issue was never about a flag or banner, but about the intention behind bringing it into the venue. He added that security had been instructed to remove anyone attempting to disturb the event.
The controversy surrounding Diljit intensified in October 2025 after his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati, where he touched the feet of host Amitabh Bachchan. According to NDTV, members of the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) group criticised the gesture and allegedly threatened to disrupt his international concerts.
Since then, security arrangements at several of Diljit's overseas shows have reportedly been heightened amid concerns over possible protests and disruptions.
