Kareena Kapoor has been grabbing headlines as the trailer of her new film Daayra was just released. On August 31, Monday, the 45-year-old star made an appearance at the event along with director Meghna Gulzar and co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran. Dressed in a stunning olive green pantsuit, the actress posed for the shutterbugs alongside the team. While the actress was standing for the paps, they were giving her instructions to change angles for the pictures. After being asked to move left and right several times, Kareena appeared agitated and scolded the paps for abruptly telling her to switch sides.
During the Daayra trailer launch, Kareena's interaction with paparazzi soon went viral on social media. When the media continued to give her instructions to move from one direction to another, the Jab We Met actress got annoyed and said, "Kabhi idhar, kabhi udhar, heels pehna hai." She also scolded the organisers for the disorganised situation.
Kareena was recently in the limelight after pregnancy rumours surrounding the actress circulated on social media after a video of her heading out of a gym went viral. The speculation began after some social media users claimed that she appeared to have a baby bump. However, Kareena's team dismissed the rumours, while her sister-in-law Saba Pataudi also dismissed the talks, stating it was a deceptive camera shot.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures and PEN Studios, the intense and captivating cop drama stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The synopsis of the movie reads, "As their paths collide, the film examines truth, accountability and the moral boundaries of justice, leaving the audience to confront the questions at its heart." Daayra is set to hit theatres worldwide on September 18, 2026.
