Renowned singer Sonu Nigam has once again sparked attention with an AI-generated video that falsely claims to show him laughing at actor Salman Khan's singing. The digitally edited video features the Dabangg star singing 'Main Hoon Hero Tera,' while the actual footage appeared to show Sonu reacting to a Pakistani singer's performance.

On Thursday, Sonu took to Instagram to clarify that the video is edited and has no connection with him laughing at Salman Khan. The manipulated clip, which carried the text, "Sonu Nigam roast Salman Khan singing," appeared to show the singer smiling and laughing while watching a video of the actor singing the song.

However, according to Sonu, this is a fake video. The original footage had shown him enjoying a young Pakistani girl singing on TV and reacting to her performance.

Reposting the fake clip, Sonu wrote in the caption, "Can expect the unexpected on the internet. I stumbled upon this edited video. This was my reaction to a Pakistani little girl singer."

Singer Anish Mathew also recalled that Sonu's original footage was for someone else. He wrote in the comment section, "I remember this video Sonu ji was reacting to little Hadiya Hashmi singing her part in ‘Bol hu‘ from Nescafé basement l.. Internet is unbelievable."
