Ranbir Kapoor was in Los Angeles on October 27 for the world premiere of his upcoming film Ramayana. A day later, Egyptian content creator Peter Fouaad shared a video capturing his encounter with the actor on the streets of Beverly Hills, California. During their interaction, Ranbir also offered him a piece of advice on achieving success.
In the video, Peter is seen approaching Ranbir as he enters a store in Beverly Hills. After confirming his identity, the content creator introduces himself and tells Ranbir that he is a big fan. Known for his street-style interactions and Walk N Talk videos, Fouaad asks Ranbir for a picture and offers him a Polaroid print. Ranbir happily agrees.
During their conversation, Peter also tells Ranbir that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is his favourite film of the actor. He reveals that he has 1.7 million followers on TikTok for asking Ranbir for advice on achieving success. The actor kept it simple, saying, "Just work hard and be a good person." Peter cheekily asks if he can land a small role in Ranbir's next film, to which Ranbir responds with a laugh and says, "Of course."
Before his encounter with Ranbir, the Egyptian content creator had also documented a video of his interaction with Hrithik Roshan overseas.
The world premiere of Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, the international title for Ramayana: Part 1, was held at the David Geffen Theatre at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on October 27, 2026. The star-studded event saw the film's lead actors, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, and members of the press and several Hollywood personalities.
During his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Ranbir said he was initially apprehensive about taking on the part of the revered deity Lord Ram.
He said, "When this role was offered to me, I knew that this isn't just a role; it is a big responsibility. My first instinct was fear: am I qualified enough to play this role? Whether I will be able to do this role? The faith of crores of people is linked to Lord Shri Ram. But very soon this fear turned into gratitude."
Ranbir said the opportunity happened to him when he became a father, making the role even more meaningful. He added, "I felt gratitude that I got this opportunity at this stage in my life and a chance to become a better human. It was during this time that I became a father and I believe that this film is a God's gift that I got an opportunity to become a better human, to understand Ramayana deeply and to get the opportunity to work with these beautiful people. It not impossible to become like Lord Ram but to learn something from him is a big deal for all of us."
Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5.
