Janhvi Kapoor wants Vedang Raina to not 'come back' after breakup with Khushi

Janhvi Kapoor has addressed Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina's reported breakup during her recent appearance on Koffee With Karan 9. During the rapid-fire segment, host Karan Johar asked Janhvi what advice she would give to Vedang. The actress urged him to stop overthinking and seemingly ruled out the possibility of a reconciliation between him and Khushi.

During the conversation, Karan asked Janhvi what dating advice she would give to Vedang. "Maybe stop overthinking," she replied. Varun chimed in with a reference to Vedang's recent film, quipping, "Main vaapas aaunga." Janhvi said, "Nahi, it's okay. Nahi aana hai. Stop overthinking (No, please don't come)" When asked Janhvi what dating advice she would offer to her sister Khushi, she said, "I don't think she needs advice right now; she's good."

When did Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor break up?

Reports of Khushi and Vedang's breakup surfaced in January this year. Journalist Vickey Lalwani took to his Instagram handle and claimed that the two have broken up after dating for over two years. "It's over," a source close to the couple told the journalist, adding, "Khushi and Vedang are not a couple anymore, but the reason for the breakup is not known. It's something that has happened only very recently."

Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor sparked dating rumours following the release of The Archies in 2023. The two reportedly grew close while filming Zoya Akhtar's project, with their frequent outings together further fuelled speculation about their relationship. Despite the growing buzz, neither Vedang nor Khushi publicly confirmed the rumours. In his early interviews, Vedang had described Khushi as a 'good friend' and said his personal life has taken a back seat as he prioritised work.

Despite their denials, Vedang's presence at Khushi's intimate parties and family gatherings kept the dating rumours alive. However, in April 2025, Khushi seemingly hinted at their relationship on Instagram by wearing a pendant with their initials. Many interpreted the accessory as her way of subtly acknowledging their relationship.
