Manushi Chhillar was seen at Mumbai airport on Tuesday (September 22), when she asked photographers to delete her back shots. Despite appearing uncomfortable with the pictures, the actress and former Miss World remained calm and maintained her composure while interacting with the paps. Videos from the airport went viral, showing Manushi smiling and posing for the shutterbugs before making her way inside the terminal.
However, at one point, Manushi noticed that photojournalists began taking her back shots. The actress then firmly asked them to delete the pictures and not post them online. "Please delete that. Don't put any back shots," she is heard saying in a video shared on Instagram.
Despite addressing the photographers, Manushi remained calm and continued posing for the cameras. She even waved back before making her way towards the terminal.
Manushi's interaction with the paparazzi comes shortly after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan raised the issue of inappropriate 'back-shot' photos of actresses during a recent Bigg Boss 20 episode. The actor slammed certain photojournalists for clicking actresses from inappropriate angles and uploading such pictures on social media.
Salman also called out the audience for encouraging such online content, highlighting the responsibility of those who watch and share these pictures on social media.
Manushi is now the latest female celebrity to address the uncomfortable shots being clicked by paparazzi. Earlier, several female celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Neha Bhasin, Neha Dhupia, Ayesha Khan, Rashami Desai, Shanaya Kapoor and others have previously called out photographers for clicking them from uncomfortable angles.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Manushi was last seen in Tehran, in which she featured alongside John Abraham and Neeru Bajwa.
