Vidya Balan and her husband-producer Siddharth Roy Kapur were recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, winning hearts with their sweet moment. The actress was seen heading to the airport, while Siddharth had arrived to drop her off like a doting husband. As they bid farewell, the paparazzi stationed at the spot captured the couple happily posed for the photographers before sharing a sweet kiss and a hug.
Before heading inside the terminal, Vidya and Siddharth posed for the paps, as they were all smiles. After posing, the two were captured leaning forward and sharing a kiss before hugging each other sideways and parting ways.
The Jailer 2 actress was seen wearing a brown co-ord set, featuring an oversized, relaxed silhouette with a collar, button details, and large front utility pockets. It was attached to a matching jogger-style trousers with a gathered elastic waistband and cuffs. On the other hand, Siddharth wore a loose-fitted, beige button-down shirt, pairing it with a classic, dark-wash blue jeans in a straight-leg fit.
Vidya and Siddharth reportedly dated for a couple of years before tying the knot in Mumbai on December 14, 2012. Talking of their first meeting, Vidya told Humans of Bombay in 2023 that life kept bringing them together around that time. Eventually, the two ended up at a party hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, who played cupid in their relationship.
She recalled that Johar had invited her to a party at his home, adding that she was a little surprised by the invitation since she did not really know him at the time. However, she thought it was a sweet gesture
"I went to his house and I didn't really know most of the others. I was a bit shy and Siddharth walks in and because we had just watched [a] play together, we ended up having a chat. That's when probably something happened that night. Later of course, I got to know that Karan had wanted us to meet. This was an intentional invitation. And it worked," she shared.
