Actress-activist Shabana Azmi spoke her mind about Bollywood item numbers during a panel discussion on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Azmi cited the example of Kareena Kapoor Khan's item number, 'Fevicol Se' from 'Dabangg 2' (2012). Azmi reportedly said, "I have reservations against item numbers. That's because I think if a top most heroine is singing I am tandoori murgi, swallow me down with alcohol, it's not a laughing matter. It's a serious issue. One person wrote the song, a few more got it made, but it was watched by crores of people. They also saw their six-year old kids singing and dancing on it. Don't you have a responsibility? It's not fun."
Now, I wonder what Bebo and the rest who shake a leg in item numbers have to say about Azmi's remarks.
