Salman Khan has to be first on the list when it comes to taking an auto ride while travelling for work! Salman Khan ditched his regular luxury car drive for an auto-rickshaw ride back from the Mehboob Studio in Bandra to his home. He was accompanied by filmmaker Ramesh Taurani.

A mid-day reader spotted a tired-looking man buried under a blue hoodie and white mask on a Vasai-bound local train. The new traveller had become a regular for almost 10 days. On certain days, he used to accompanied by a young girl. As is usually seen in Mumbai trains, kind co-passengers are often quick to advise rest to weary travellers. Our reader said this man was at the receiving end of a lot of lectures by locals. But somewhere after Malad, a little boy recognised him. He went up to him and said, "Aap Tiger ho na?" Given that it was early in the evening, the compartment was less crowded. The kid got his fanboy moment. Tiger Shroff was shooting for a high-octane action scene at Vasai highway and prefered to take Mumbai local train to travel!

Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for his upcoming thriller drama Laxmmi Bomb, was shooting in Ghatkopar on September 18. The actor, who had to reach Versova at the peak hours, ditched his car and opted for Mumbai Metro to reach sooner. Not only this, but Akshay also shared a video on social media to share his experience with the fans on how he got stuck in a jam and decided to take the Mumbai Metro. When the actor was at a loss as to how he might reach his destination, Raj Mehta, his director of the upcoming film Good Newwz, suggested Akshay could try a ride on the Metro, and that it would save his time.

Hrithik Roshan was spotted outside a suburban theatre in Mumbai with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan while the trio was on an auto ride back home. Hrithik shared this picture on Twitter and wrote alongside, "Took an auto home. What was normal pocket money travel 4 daddy becomes an adventure trip 4 us boys. Lovely"

Boman Irani was inspired by this Marathi actress named Laxmi, who also drives an auto, He greeted her on the road when he saw her and even took an auto ride! Sharing a video clip of the incident, Boman shared the inspiring story of how Laxmi juggled between the two jobs of acting in Marathi serials and driving an auto-rickshaw. In the video, Boman can be seen sitting next to her on the driver's seat. "Met this amazing Super lady Laxmi, acts in Marathi serials and is also a rickshaw driver. Such an inspiration. A real-life hero. Hope you also get a chance to ride in her rickshaw. She is a real bundle of energy. So very proud of you Laxmi and wish you the very best always," he wrote on Instagram.

While most people are used to seeing Salman Khan take an auto-rickshaw, passers-by in Andheri were shocked to find the suave and stylish Ranbir Kapoor doing the same.

After attending the premiere of Hum Dono at Cinemax Theatre, Ranbir was in a hurry to reach home. His car was parked in the basement and there was too much crowd outside the venue for the actor to wade through to reach the basement.

So Ranbir, along with director Imtiaz Ali, ran across the road, hailed a passing rickshaw, jumped into it and rushed for Bandra (his home). A rare experience for the Kapoor boy!

Ranveer Singh too took an auto ride after attending a promotional event for a fashion brand.

Vidya Balan took an auto ride at the trailer launch of her film Kahaani 2 in Juhu, Mumbai. Well, this was a part of her promotional strategy!

In fact, Krishna Shroff, Jackie Shroff's daughter, often prefers travelling in auto rather than her luxurious car.

Though she hid her face, the first time paparazzi spotted her taking a rickshaw ride, the next time Sara Ali Khan looked pretty comfortable was allowed the shutterbugs to click her with one of her friends. The two were all set to hit the gym to sweat it out.

Kim Sharma dressed in a red and white striped tee and denim shorts was clicked too taking a rickshaw ride in Bandra!

Kapoor and Sons' co-stars Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan too promoted their film by taking a jetty in Mumbai.
