Coolie No. 1 is a remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's 1995 starrer comic caper. This one directed by David Dhawan, who made the original one, stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Varun.

Coolie No. 1 also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Sahil Vaid, Shikha Talsania, Paresh Rawal, and Johnny Lever, the film is slated to release on May 1 this year.

On March 17, Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram account to share that he has completed the dubbing for Coolie No. 1. He shared a photo from the studio and wrote, "Finished dubbing for #coolieno1 #comedyismedicine [sic]."

Given the quarantine due to the Coronavirus scare, it's commendable how Varun Dhawan is still ensuring his work commitments are full filled.

On the personal front, Varun Dhawan and girlfriend Natasha Dalal were set to exchange vows this summer, but amid coronavirus scare, the wedding has been postponed.

A source revealed to mid-day that in light of the recent developments, the Dhawans have shifted their wedding dates to the second half of the year. "The initial plan was to have an intimate wedding on a private island in Thailand, but it was scrapped last month in favour of a destination wedding in Jodhpur. Eventually, they called that off too and were considering having a low-key ceremony in Mumbai. But looking at the current scenario, they have decided to tentatively push the shaadi to November and have reverted to their original choice of destination — Thailand."
