Hrithik Roshan box office report: Ahead of War 2, look at his highest grossing films

Hrithik Roshan is all set to make a mark on the big screen with War 2 as he returns to play Agent Kabir. He first played the role in the 2019 film War which was a massive blockbuster earning over Rs 300 cr. Here we take a look at his top grossing films in the last decade

Fighter (2024)

Hrithik plays an Indian Air Force pilot involved in intense aerial combat, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The film mixes patriotism with adrenaline-fueled action

The film became the highest grossing film of 2024 earning overall Rs 205.55 cr. The opening day saw Rs 24.60 cr collected at the box office while the first weekend collection was Rs 115.30 cr

Vikram Vedha (2022)

A Hindi remake where a tough cop (Saif Ali Khan) hunts down an enigmatic gangster Vedha (Hrithik). The narrative is an intense cat-and-mouse thriller with philosophical undertones

The film managed to enter the double digit on day 1 with Rs 10.58 cr collection. Over the first weekend, it earned Rs 36.94 cr and has a lifetime earning of Rs 78.66 

War (2019) 

Hrithik plays a power-packed role opposite Tiger Shroff in an action-packed thriller filled with espionage, betrayal, and high-voltage stunts- setting the tone for the YRF Spy Universe

The film was a big blockbuster with the opening day collection being Rs 53.35 cr. In its first weekend, the film collected Rs 166.25 cr, while its lifetime collection is  Rs 318.01 cr

Super 30 (2019) 

A biographical drama based on mathematician Anand Kumar and his Super 30 program. Hrithik plays Anand, who coaches underprivileged students for India's toughest engineering entrance exam, the IIT-JEE

The film based on real life earned Rs 11.83 cr on opening day. The film made half century during its first weekend with a collection of Rs 50.76 cr. The film had a lifetime earning of Rs 146 cr 

Kaabil (2017)

Hrithik plays a blind dubbing artist whose wife, also visually impaired, is assaulted and dies. Seeking justice, he embarks on a vigilante mission, turning his tragedy into retribution

The thriller that saw Hrithik play a blind man earned Rs 10.43 cr on the opening day. Over the weekend, it earned Rs 67.46 crore.  The film's lifetime collection is Rs 103.84 cr

Mohenjo Daro (2016)

Set in ancient Indus Valley civilization, Hrithik plays a farmer who falls in love with a high-status woman, leading to rebellion against a corrupt regime

The historical drama that paired Hrithik with Pooja Hegde earned Rs 8.87 cr on the opening day. Over the weekend, it earned Rs 30.54 crore.  The film's lifetime collection is Rs 58 cr

Now, all eyes are on War 2 which will be released in theatres on August 14
