Although Dhurandhar unfolds in places like Lyari and Karachi in Pakistan, the scenes were shot at different locations, made to look like Pakistan. The production team recreated the environments using locations across India and Thailand. Filming reportedly took place over an extended schedule from mid-2024 to late 2025. The iconic bridge sequence where SP Chaudhary Aslam nabs Rehman Dakait was reportedly shot on the Dombivli-Mankoli Bridge.
The production team built an entire town of Lyari on a 6-acre massive land in Thailand, Bangkok. Every detail of the town was created with precision.
The Khera village in Ludhiana was reportedly transformed into Pakistan overnight. The locals allegedly woke up to Pakistani flags and Urdu posters around, so that it could look like rural Pakistan.
Some high-altitude action scenes were reportedly shot in Leh. This is where the crew suffered food poisoning and the shoot was halted.
Similarly, some scenes were shot in Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh to scale and contrast to the narrative.
Locals had spotted Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal filming at the Ballard estate in South Mumbai.
Several scenes were also shot in and around Ludhiana, like the bylanes, the railway track and Shahnewal Airport.
Filmistan Studios in Mumbai was reportedly heavily used for controlled indoor scenes in the film.
The scenes in the Gehra Hua song where Hamza and Yalina are seen in a mall were shot in Inorbit Mall in Mumbai.
Parts of the film were also shot in Amritsar, Punjab, near the Golden Temple and at Lal Kothi (Gandhi Ashram), which represented a 20,000 sq. ft. mansion, as well as the local bus station.
The bike chase scene in the first part, where Hamza helps Yalina escape a raid in a club was reportedley shot at Sector-17 Underpass, Chandigarh.
Hamza and Yalina's lavish mansion in part 2 is located in Amritsar, Punjab.
