After his acclaimed documentary on the West Indies cricket team, Stevan Riley's next is about the debonair British spy

Stevan Riley is not really a cricket buff but that didn't stop him from "writing a love letter to the glorious cricketing era" of West Indies in the '70s and '80. However, he's self-admittedly a huge fan of James Bond. And that's what his next documentary is all about.

Titled Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, Stevan seeks to find the reasons how the celebrated yet fictional spy managed to survive all these years. He says, "James Bond is not just a film franchise. We are talking about comic strips, television and a lot more. He's like a cultural icon. My film is an attempt and first of its kind to record this phenomenon from the very first movie which introduced him to the last one he appeared in."

The documentary is scheduled to premiere in London and New York on Bond Day (October 5). It will screen in Mumbai much later. Although the film coincides with the 50th anniversary of James Bond, Stevan started working on his project 10 years prior to get all the necessary information and permissions. So what was the biggest challenge in accomplishing a film like this? "I'm a sucker for narrative so I think condensing 50 years into 90 minutes has to be it," sums up Riley.u00a0
