In a series of tweets, the R ân´B singer said that he was ''tired of being famous for a mistake he made when he was 18', referencing the assault charges filed against him by on-off girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, Fox News reported.
Brown's declaration came the day after he turned himself in to a Van Nuys, Calif., jail in connection with his ongoing hit-and-run case.
