Course on Lady Gaga

University of South Carolina sociology professor Mathieu Deflem will teach a course next semester with the following title Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame!

Here's an excerpt from the course description of Deflem's class: "The central objective is to unravel some of the sociologically relevant dimensions of the fame of Lady Gaga."



Here's Professor Deflem on whether or not Gaga will make a guest appearance at his class: "I will get the word out to her that I'm doing the course.

But it might be logistically too difficult for her to come because she will be on tour for most of the spring semester."
