Los Angeles: Singer Rita Ora says she has developed an addiction to social media and believes the effect it has on her is similar to a 'drug'.

The 23-year-old has developed an obsession with photo-sharing site Instagram and social-networking site Twitter and admits her phone is the first thing she reaches for when she wakes up in the morning, reports contactmusic.com.
Speaking in the August issue of Flare magazine, she explained: "I'm on it as soon as I wake up. I scroll with one eye open. It's like a drug.
For me, it's like, look forward. You don't have to look side to side. If you start looking from side to side, you get confused."
