Jonas Brothers singer Kevin Jonas has revealed an embarrassing mishap involving a photograph he sent to a group chat dedicated to the New York Giants. The singer accidentally included an intimate image in a picture of his television and only realised what had happened after sharing it with his friends, including brothers Joe and Nick Jonas.
Kevin, 38, recounted the incident on the October 27 episode of the brothers' Hey Jonas! podcast, admitting that the episode had ruined his day. The conversation began with the singer telling his brothers, "I did something that ruined my entire day."
The siblings explained that their football group chat had been active for around 15 years and included their original tour drummer, photographer and several friends. When J.J. McCarthy took over as the team's starting quarterback on October 25, Kevin decided to share a photograph of the announcement playing on his television.
Explaining how the mishap happened, Kevin said, "The photo has mirrors, and I didn't clock it. And it was in our bathroom, and I took the photo as I'm getting into the shower."
"You have a massive TV in your bathroom," Joe said, adding that the picture showed "only your d''k. It's literally just your wiener."
Kevin reportedly realised what had happened while he was with his wife, Danielle Jonas. He immediately began sending messages to the group, urging everyone to delete the photograph. Among the texts he sent were, "Guys delete the photo I'm sorry," followed by "Cuck my life," and "Delete the thread f''k." He then added, "I'm such a moron," and "Well."
Nick, 34, and Joe found the sequence of messages particularly amusing. Joe said he was playing video games on the couch when the texts arrived, while Nick was getting his hair cut. Both were initially confused before understanding what had happened.
Nick described Kevin's rapid-fire messages as "the greatest series of messages", while Joe called them "the greatest". Nick added, "What's funny is not the photo. It's these four texts back to back that are like poetry." Joe added that the group members had been understanding about the accidental photograph, saying everyone was "very sweet" about the situation.
The Jonas Brothers are currently touring with The Burning Up Tour All Over Again, which began in August with three sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden. The tour is scheduled to continue through late December.
