Jennifer Lopez has done it again. The singer-actor left her fans stunned with her opening performance at the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) in Las Vegas. One move in particular stole the show - she kissed the background dancers during the act, setting the stage ablaze amid her highly publicised split from actor Ben Affleck.
On Monday, Lopez kicked off the AMAs ceremony with a dance medley that included kisses shared with both male and female dancers. She began by singing a slowed-down version of her 2012 hit Dance Again, followed by performances of Doechii's Denial Is a River, A Bar Song by Shaboozey, and APT by Bruno Mars and RosΓΒ©.
But it wasn't just the setlist that got people talking - it was her headline-making "kiss-off" that stirred chatter online. Fans were abuzz about her bold move to lock lips with multiple dancers during the high-energy performance.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck officially settled the terms of their divorce on January 6, and the Los Angeles County Superior Court declared the couple's marriage dissolved on February 21, according to court documents.
Now, sources report that Lopez is "ready" to start dating again just two months after the split from Affleck. As per Page Six, an insider revealed, "Jennifer is ready to put herself out there again and she hasn't given up on finding love. Her friends have encouraged her to date, and she's definitely open to meeting someone new."
Interestingly, Lopez may be considering expanding her dating pool beyond celebrities. "Jennifer is considering dating somebody who isn't in the public eye this time around, but she's not limiting herself to any particular type," the source added.
Lopez filed for divorce precisely two years after their Georgia wedding ceremony, listing April 26, 2024, as their date of separation and citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. While Lopez seems ready to move on, sources claim Ben Affleck is reconnecting with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he has been spending more time recently.
