Citadel Season 2 trailer: Priyanka Chopra's show returns after three years; to premiere on THIS date

After a wait of almost three years, the makers of Citadel finally unveiled the action-packed official trailer of the second season on Tuesday. The makers also announced the premiere date for the return of the high-stakes spy series, Citadel Season 2.

A terrifying new threat emerges, leading the trio of Mason Kane (Richard Madden), Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), and Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) to be pulled back into action. Now the three must recruit an unlikely team of skilled new operatives and also launch a globe-spanning mission to stop a conspiracy that could possibly reshape humanity. With blockbuster action, shocking betrayals, and an extended ensemble of mysterious agents, the stakes have never been higher. No one can be trusted, as anyone could be friend or foe.

The returning cast members this season include Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings, along with an expanded ensemble cast of Jack Reynor as Hutch, Matt Berry as Franke Sharpe, and Lina El Arabi as Celine. Other notable additions also include Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone, and Rayna Vallandingham.

The second season will have seven episodes, all of which will be released on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The show is set to release in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
