Grief can be tough to process and might take a long time for a person to get over the demise of someone close to them. ‘Friends' star Courteney Cox revealed to have a supposedly paranormal experience with late co-star Matthew Perry. He passed away on October 28, 2023, at his residence in the Los Angeles area. He was 54.

Courteney and Matthew played a couple on the show and were famously known as ‘Mondler'. Their camaraderie was not just on-screen but off-screen as well.

During an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, Courteney revealed that Matthew "visits" her frequently.

She said, "You know, he's just so funny. He has genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled. I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot if we believe in that. You know, I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew - I feel like there are a lotta people that, I think, guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew's around for sure."

Earlier, Courteney shared a heartfelt post on Instagram which she captioned, "I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day. When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here's one of my favorites. To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night fling in London. But because of the audience's reaction, it became the beginning of their love story. In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind."

After Matthew Perry's unexpected death, his co-stars from the show Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, released a joint statement. "We are all completely crushed by Matthew's death. We were more than simply coworkers. We are a family," the statement said.

"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

"In time, we will say more, as and when we are able," the message said. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

Perry was Friends' droll wingman-turned-leading man 'Chandler Bing' for 10 years, delivering a pitch-perfect comedic performance that garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2002.
